Trust me, they do!

TBH for everyone here in HK, IAH would open up South American travel much more! For IAD, not sure they would. Cathay used to run this and it was not normally full. I think most people here would love to see flights to Guam come back, this would open the Pacific Islands and Hawaii up to HK again!

It is also worth noting, airlines like Air Canada & United have maintenence bases here in HK. It is not uncommon to see United & Air Canada aircraft of all sizes circling just South of Hong Kong running tests. So I imagine a mini-hub is probably very close to reality in the coming years.

Something to go along with what United seems to be trying with Narita, then. Wouldn’t be surprised if we get routes to KUL, DEL, HYD, PER, and BLR from HKG, too.

Also, doesn’t United have a lot of their maintenance done at Xiamen, too?

because GlobalX doesn’t provide scheduled passenger service… people disapprove of Avelo’s actions also because they do have scheduled service

This is the last I’m going to speak on this, but in my personal opinion, the backlash is completely unwarranted. They are simply providing charter services to a customer. Whether it’s a sports team or the U.S. government, it’s all the same. The fact that they offer passenger service is completely unrelated.

This is a classic example of people being upset that they didn’t get the result they wanted in the presidential election, and for that reason, they are taking it out on anything they don’t agree with. I myself am conservative, so I’m sure you can guess where I stand on this. But I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I don’t wish to discuss this any further because this is a safe place for everyone to talk about aviation—not politics. As always, safe flying!

Spot-on. Breeze crews don’t get paid to ask questions about what they have in the passenger cabin or cargo hold. Their job is to fly from Point A to Point B in a timely manner, and what they’ve got on board could be people, tulips, alfalfa, tractor parts, or a priceless grandfather clock. It makes no difference. Paraphrasing RegularCarReviews’s (he’s also done a few plane reviews) fixtional Rinaldi and Kline Excavation, ā€œWe’ll fly your plane. What goes in the plane, that’s up to you.ā€

Future North American and European Expansion
The arrival of additional A350-1000 aircraft will enable Starlux to reach deeper into the United States. The airline is actively evaluating service to Texas, Chicago (ORD), New York (JFK), and Washington DC (IAD), with new route announcements expected by early 2025.

Imagine Taipei to Dulles with the 350K. If all goes according to plan, This would be the second 350K to fly to Dulles after Ethiopian
