Nice to see DFW → HKG return after AA dipped
Yeah I’m really happy to see it! I think the likelihood is Cathay asked if they were bringing it back as it was a codeshare and when they said no they decided to do it themselves.
Sun Country has decided to resume nonstop service from Duluth - Fort Myers for 2025!
Here’s more information
The flights will begin June 12th in 2025 and will be used with the A350!
Very nice to finally see a destination in Asia being added to SLC!
I know this is completely irrelevant but why aren’t US carriers returning back to Manchester? I understand that Delta is partners with Virgin Atlantic so it makes sense to use them from Manchester as they have a hub there but UA and AA? They used to have daily services to Manchester. I think a seasonal MAN - LAX route would be beneficial as Manchester sees a lot of holiday routes and maybe a new Texas route since Singapore Airlines are pulling out of the MAN - IAH route from April 2025.
I don’t know about United but American primarily used the 757s on that route and they don’t have a viable aircraft to use I don’t think even sending widebodies seasonally was profitable enough.
I think the B788 would’ve done the job. Or maybe get JetBlue in and fly a MAN - BOS route? Maybe a JFK route if they think they can compete with VS and EI.

Wow 3 new European Routes added to BNA in the last couple of months all starting next year nice to see!
Delta announced that in May of 2025, there will be three flights from Minneapolis/St. Paul to Copenhagen per week with an Airbus A330-300.
In addition, they announced that in June of 2025, there will be a 3x weekly service to Shanghai from Los Angeles aboard an Airbus A350-900WXB, making Delta have a total of 17 flights between the US and China, including from its hubs in Seattle and Detroit.
Yay! More Europe routes! It’ll be interesting to see if SAS still expresses interest in starting MSP-CPH as well, which they said was something they were looking at. Given they’re both SkyTeam, it would be kinda redundant, but it’s still certainly possible.
I would also anticipate Turkish coming to Minneapolis in the very near future. They seem quite interested in MSP-IST.
United has announced some very strange routes.
