Because yes. My family loves Phuket
JSX will be moving all Boca Raton flights to Fort Lauderdale (FXE) and all Boulder flights will be moved to Denver’s Centennial Airport

oooh that’s an interesting one
ohhh cool!
Well there goes an airport that I’ve always wanted to fly out of
BCT fits them perfectly and the only reason for this is that the Atlantic Aviation hangar (where they fly out of) is planned to be demolished
Copa Airlines will resume flights to Santiago de los Caballeros (suspended in January 2025 along with Armenia (Colombia), Tulum and Mexico City-NLU due to airplane shortages), and will additionally launch flights to Puerto Plata, both destinations in the Dominican Republic. Coming in January 2026.
I discussed about the possibility of flights to Puerto Plata in the 737 MAX 8 livery thread before:
Another of my proposed destinations will become a reality!
Berlin to Miami seems fun and interesting
New Copa Airlines service to Los Cabos, Mexico and retaking flights to Salvador, Brazil.
Another proposed destination I mentioned before:
Oh, I’m so convincing my parents to take me lol
Oh I am SOOO doing this, this weekend
Delta is moving up the seasonal start dates on:
- New York - Naples
- Minneapolis - Rome
- Minneapolis - Copenhagen
- Atlanta - Athens
- New York - Catania
Delta is cutting:
- New York - London Gatwick (@Anthony_Gulluscio summon)
- Atlanta - Brussels
SaS joining sky team is doing wonders
Yes! The route is apparently doing very well.
My home airport to Naples appears to be a huge success
WestJet has 4 new routes from Calgary:
- Tepic, Mexico (TPQ)
• Guadalajara, Mexico (GDL)
• Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic (POP) - Panama City, Panama (PTY)
@brunocr98 & @Jger summon for the new PTY route! Super cool to see a new airline there.
They’ve been flying lately from Toronto to Río Hato (RIH), a small airport located near resorts in the countryside. But nice that they’re expanding from other Canadian cities.
They are using sun wing/swoop aircraft tho
Both airlines were acquired by WestJet not long ago and those aircraft haven’t been painted in the WestJet livery yet, that’s why.
Yes! It’s a good time for them to expand in other countries that aren’t the US, given the fact that a lot of Canadians are choosing to avoid America because of the political environment. So instead of Florida or Hawaii, people might choose to go somewhere like Rio Hato.
YYC-PTY is going to be one heck of a long flight. SFO-PTY is close to 7 hours, and Calgary is much farther north.
I just looked on the map, not sure if Copa Airlines would make a profit of it, if they decide to do it too.
