AA w a350s? hm idk, why dont they replace their 772s with more 787s lol

I think it’s because American already has an enormous backlog of orders for the 787. Also, the A350 is a good choice for replacing their 777-200s since the other option is yet to be built and certified

Imo, having something other than just b787s as your long haul fleet is also good if something happens with the b787 and it needs to be temporarily grounded like the MAX. Don’t put all you eggs in one basket
Not saying this is why, I’m not AA, but this is a benefit I see
and a downside as well

yeah thats true, n i guess thats the reason why they have both neos and maxs, an american a350 would look cool as hell

ANA: 2 777-9 - 2 787-10
El Al: 3 787-9
Eva Air: 4 787-10

this time boeing wins in asia, however Korean Air and Japan Airlines orders cannot be compared to this minimal orders

Great News! @SaudiaGroup has just ordered 105 latest-generation #A320neo Family aircraft.

This order supports the group's Saudi Vision 2030 ambition to attract even more tourists and business travellers to continue to positively contribute to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's

Saudia just ordered 105 NEOs for Saudia and flyadeal. 93 A321neos and 12 A320neos, half half between both airlines. Saudia wanted 180 but couldn’t secure more slots before 2032. Potentially means a MAX order as well? This is the largest aircraft order from Saudia Arabia ever.

I highly doubt they really take delivery of these, multiple libyan airlines order new airplanes but they never take delivery of these

saudia owns flyadeal?

This was all prior to the climax of the conflict. The country, while still unstable, is opening up again, and the first international routes to Malta and Italy have been established. I believe things might be changing.

Aer lingus (IAG) ordered these planes a while ago, 2019 I think.
They ordered 14 but lost 2 to Iberia (another airline in IAG)

They were supposed to receive them this year but they didn’t due to the pilot pay also they might receive them next year hopefully.

I will never forget the 9 A350s Aer lingus were supposed to receive, never.
