I’ve noticed each time aircraft come in the newer ones get more work on them . From little things like window wipers etc or windows opening . To the a321 neo getting ecam.. will all aircraft which recently updated get other changes ? Just seems strange to always implement further features on newer aircraft but nothing to done previous models . Would be nice for them to revisit other “newer” planes. But way it goes seems line each new plane will have more newer stuff and nothing made the exact same standard
When it comes to the more detailed cockpit screens that have been teased on the A21N, it’s probably something that will gradually make its way to the other aircraft models in time, but it wouldn’t be an easy process with the massive variety of screen designs across the fleet.
They did recently change the side “EFB” screen on the 777s to be indicative of the “menu”, so it can be done. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Just wait for the 787, if this is what they are doing for the A321neo, the possibilities for dimmable window shades, interactive pull-down HUD, etc, are becoming more and more likely.
I think this is probably unlikely, we aren’t a cabin service simulator. And animating all ~80-110 windows (depending on the variant) would be a lot of work with an arguably unnecessary performance cost.
The cockpit drop-down HUD would be cool though.
