Thought with more complex systems coming out with the A321 neo, why not have a checklists tab under miscellaneous next to the FMS button and have the checklist aircraft specific. Only the aircraft to be flown would be appear upon clicking the checklist tab. It could operate similar to the FMS where the checklist pops out in its own window, and maybe even make it to where we can check individual items off and have it save, or auto check them off once the appropriate system is enabled.

I think you can set up a poll for those who need this feature to vote, and then let the official consider whether to add these things. To be honest, I have also seen the new page changes, which are completely different from the infinite test flight interface I know
Since Infinite Flight is a simulator designed to help people learn about aviation, I think regardless of the poll results (which at the end of the day dont matter, votes do, hence the features topic), it would be a meaningful feature to add. People can use it, or they can choose to not use it. It’s there for convenience. Checklists are a part of irl aviation, and a lot of GA planes have integrated electronic checklists. Why not have this integrated for IF, in a unique IF way.

I was hoping systems would get this before the teaser was announced.
Sure the buttons now are amazing, but an FMS like pop-up screen would make it even nicer.
Only issue is that it’s difficult to reach then. For example when you start the APU while taxiing just after landing, then you’ll need to open that tab..
Meanwhile APU now is very accessible.
That’s the biggest issue of it, there are important buttons that need to be accessible quickly.

Maybe it could be an option under miscellaneous that you could turn on, and the tab that appears becomes minimizeable but still on the screen. So there would be like a little tab named checklists or something which you could click on to reopen it. Then if you don’t want the bar there you can turn it off under misc.
Thats the pc version, also.
