Hello would anyone have the cruising speeds of the aircraft?
Which aircraft do you need?
Anywhere between 120knots and Mach 0.85 depending on the aircraft. So continuing from that what aircraft are you referring to? 😂
I’m referring to the Airbus A320
Cruising speed above Flight Level 280 would be Mach 0.78 for the A320 family 🙂 The same can be used for the 737 family
for any airbus aircraft not flying from airbus?
I don’t quite understand you’re question?
All aircraft types even from the same manufacturer have different speed types. I linked a helpful topic on the speeds of aircraft at cruise and their max ceiling in the IF fleet. All the speeds are included with the other info.
In addition, the A350 isn’t on there but it cruises at 0.85.
I got a rough list of all airliners for you:
Boeing:
717: Mach 0.75-77
737 Family: Mach .78-79
747: Mach .84-85
767: Mach .81-83
777: Mach .82-84
787: Mach .85-86
Airbus:
A320 Family: Mach .78
A330 Family: Mach .79-81
A340: Mach .81-84
A350: Mach .84-85
A380: Mach .84-86
Bombardier
Q400: Depends on altitude, try to get it roughly between .48 and .53 depending on how high you are, don’t push 240 ish at low altitude cruises
CRJ-200 Mach .75-77
CRJ-700+ Mach .77-78
McDonnel Douglas
DC10/MD-11 Family: .81-84
This might not be 100% accurate, but this is the rough sketch I’ve used for years and mostly follows realistic airline procedures.
