Aircraft sliding on runway

When crosswind occurs, the plane slides on the runway because we fight against the wind
Look at the Dash, 1m58s
It would more realistic and easy to land and taking off when the plane slides on the runway instead going WTF, wing hit ground then plane crash.

If you dont get what i am talking about, look at this video.

I saw that video. scary.

Nimrods who land on the edge would slide off it.
#needed for realism

Did you notice the point of what i said?
The aircraft slides on runway before taking off, due to the wind!

We definitely need this!

It will be really effective and useful during Crosswind takeoffs/landings 😊. And I think this also add some realism to the sim

I think we already have this feature, the float point bug. Should be kept for crosswind landings and takeoffs.

Let me just give you a quick review : nope.
This bug makes your aircraft jump left and right 5meters after a 10 hour flight. So no, just no.

Not sure what you mean. This is already happening.

How the Q400 looks like coming in for landing in these videos.

Beware of R.E.G.I.S

This is very true for most aircrafts in infinite flight. The crosswind landings are not well replicated in the game. You have to straight with the runway before touchdown otherwise it ends up into a wheelie with a wing slap to the runway

If you haven’t noticed, we kind of already have this. Feature not needed.

Bumping this thread. We need more tire slide when landing with crosswing, I think this will help control the aircraft more. I was practicing crosswind landings the other day with different aircrafts with 30kts winds, and the problem I see is that when the main tires touch the runway they dont slide, they just grip. So that along with the not so responsive rudder on some airplanes, it make it difficult. Some said we already have this but I play on solo alot and watch replays alot, and the aircrafts dont slide, they just turn left and right like a car.

That would be cool and more realistic. But landings will be harder and we won’t be able to controle the plane easily on the ground. People who plane xplane will know, the plane sliding around makes it impossible to taxi πŸ€”πŸ˜‚

So this is basically drifting? The back of the aircraft swings out in high winds?
