Aircraft search bar

If there was a search bar to find a specific type of aircraft how would it work for Infinite Flight like if you wanted to fly a DC-3 or a Boeing 707 to Pelatus pc-12 or 24 to king air etc.

I can’t find a Features request for that, but you can certainly ask for someone else to make a thread or do it yourself!

Regarding,

It would work as a normal search bar, and bring up the aircraft type, similar to how you search airports in game.

That’s because you have to be TL2 and above to post within the Features category.

This really isn’t necessary now because of how many planes we have in game

I’m saying if you want infinite flight to add a aircraft you think would be a good addition you can go to the search bar and find the aircraft you want to fly like for instance if you asked infinite flight to add the airbus a310 you could just search it and it would be there including the variance for airline or cargo. It would be like if you were playing mfs2020 you can add any aircraft you want

and how exactly is that supposed to work? They can’t just simply add a new aircraft

Real. This isnt RFS where they add every single plane in the shortest time possible.

I’m saying how you would search for a specific airport you could do the same for what kind of airplane you want to use like some users would like to see the Saab or the ATR added in the game you could just search it and what livery you want on it.

do you mean to suggest to add to the game or to actually fly in game

That’s not how it works…

I do have to agree with this. The airplane quality is actually really bad considering how much time and effort they put in (0)(I’m talking about RFS here). The airports are also questionable.

Infinite Flight on the other hand, the devs actually spend a ton of time researching, developing and texturing the aircraft. Which is why, it isn’t possible to add an aircraft this quickly, which the reason I don’t see a need for the search bar. The aircraft menu is super easy to navigate (they are put into their own categories whilst RFS basically threw the planes around).

My take is that when IF (if this happens) has 100+ aircraft over like 20+ maybe 30+ years, then there could be a search bar

I can find my plane and the livery I want to fly faster with scrolling than a search bar tbh.
