Aircraft not rendered

I was taxing on expert server and got a warning that I was too close to another aircraft. I immediately checked surroundings and couldn’t see any other aircraft. Then I checked the map once again and saw another aircraft right in front. I also got warning from ATC to check user guide. Exited immediately to prevent getting a violation.

Yeah the map is crucial for this sort of thing. What do you have Airplane Count set to in settings, because this will affect aircraft being actually visible.

The aircraft rendering in Infinite Flight is a bit spotty - and as with many things, Project Metal should hopefully improve it.

I have it on medium. On graphics settings, I have everything high except for Anti Aliasing.

Yeah, hope this gets fixed. It’s crucial to see aircrafts in closer proximity, especially on ground, takeoff rolls and landing finals.

Are you on cellular data? If so ensure download aircraft/liveries over cellular data is enabled.

FYI, the CUG message is meant to indicate that the ATC believes the pilot may have misunderstood certain ATC instructions. Hence, they want you to review the User Guide. It is not a warning before being reported.

We normally use this instead of a “please follow instructions” (PFI) message, considering the degree of pilot non-compliance and traffic levels. But of course, there are times when a PFI can be sent after a CUG message.

Oh! That could be the reason. I was on cellular data at the time. The option to download liveries over cell data was off. Thanks
