Hi everyone i am new here. I want to purchase pro membership but i wanna know does Aircraft has lights specially during night time. Like can i see the ground when i turn on aircraft lights

Hello! Yes, aircraft have lights, but it is very hard to see the ground from different altitudes. There are 4 light groups, Nav,
Beacon, Strobe, and Landing.

Yes they do the other guy is being stupid
He said “can you see the ground when you turn on aircraft lights” and the guy replied “no you cant”
He’s right lol the lights dont reflect off the ground. he aint stupid

According to the reality, you may use different lights in different situations, whether it is night or day.
You should not turn on lights or only turn on NAV Light on the gate.
After finishing handling, Beacon Light can be turned on.
Strobe and Landing Lights are available when you enter the runway for lining up or taking off.
Finally, it is remarkably important to turn off Landing Light above 10000ft.

nav lights are always on
beacon, whenever its dangerous to operate near the plane, like when pushing back, turning on engines, and turned off when its safe to operate near it again.

strobe, when entering an active runway, and taking off, they are on during the whole flight, and turned off, when exiting the runway
