Description
During flight, I observed that while flying in multiplayer, the system continuously displayed target information for another aircraft (distance, speed and altitude), labeled as “Unknown,” but the aircraft was not displayed at all on the map.
During the occurrence of the issue, the “Unknown” target information remained visible and updated dynamically, indicating that the aircraft was consistently recognized by the simulation logic as a valid multiplayer target. However, despite this, the aircraft was completely absent from the map, with no position or representation shown. At the same time, all other map elements—such as airports, waypoints, airspace, and other traffic—were displayed normally.
This condition persisted for approximately 10 minutes, during which no manual actions such as refreshing, reconnecting, or changing views were performed. The issue occurred during the climb phase under stable flight conditions and affected only this specific multiplayer aircraft.
The issue resolved automatically after reaching the planned cruise altitude, at which point the aircraft appeared normally on the map without any user intervention.
This behavior impacts multiplayer situational awareness, as an aircraft can be recognized by the system while not being represented on the map.
