This issue happened to me for the first time. I was flying the Hong Kong–Dallas route in the A350-1000. I generated my flight plan using SimBrief with a planned cruising altitude of 36,000 feet. My aircraft wasn’t even at MTOW. As I approached my cruising altitude, I set my trim to -50% with a climb rate of 700 vs. However, things suddenly became unexpected. The climb stopped at 35,380 feet with an airspeed of 262 knots. Then, despite having the autopilot set to climb, the aircraft suddenly dropped from 35,380 feet to 32,000 feet in just 1 minute and 23 seconds. After leveling off at 32,000 feet, I attempted to climb back to my original cruising altitude of 36,000 feet with a climb rate of 800. However, the climb stopped again at 35,160 feet with an airspeed of 267 knots and descended on it’s own. Because of this, I decided lower my cruising altitude to 33,000 feet and left the game running with AP+ enabled.
The second issue occurred when I returned to the flight because it wasn’t appearing on any live flight tracker due to common ap+ issue. I reopened the app while the aircraft was cruising steadily at 33,000 feet. As soon as I returned to the game, the aircraft suddenly dropped on its own from 33,000 feet to 30,800 feet in just 30 seconds. I just want to know if it’s an A350-1000 bug? As I haven’t encountered any of these issues in other aircrafts.
