Airbus A330-900neo - Aircalin

Created under the name Air Calédonie International in 1983, Aircalin is a French airline based at the international airport of Noumea - La Tontouta in New Caledonia.
It started its operations to Brisbane, Nadi, Port Vila and Wallis and expanded its network to Sydney, Melbourne, Papeete… over the years.
In 2000, the first long-haul route to Osaka was created and the following year 2 A330-200s were ordered to increase traffic to Japan with the creation of Noumea-Tokyo.
In 2016, Aircalin ordered 2 A330neo and 2 A320neo to renew the fleet.
The first A330neo, named Kanuméra, was delivered on August 6, 2019, while the second, named Luengöni, entered service on October 4, 2019, both configured for 291 passengers.
Today, Aircalin serves Sydney, Auckland and Tokyo Narita onboard A330-900neo
