The Trent XWB has low engine on wing time.

But , there is a sliver lining to this issue see , Rolls Royce is poring millions of dollars to make the Trent XWB more reliable and powerful.

I find it very likely that it will make its way to the A350. Image having both the 777x and A350 running off the same engines. Airlines would love to have that

That is very unlikely

British Airways received their last A35K this year.

I think it would make more sense to make the a350-1000 like the best new quality aircraft. This aircraft is expected to come by 2026 when new delta, air india, Qantas deliveries. When the a35k arrives we hope to get a finished a350-900. But let’s just say i want the a350-1000 more.

IF aircraft are ALWAYS made to the best possible.

Either way they’ll try to save the most amount of resources and time possible so I’m expecting a finishing touch on the A359 then a is started on the A35K, even though it aint a stretched A359 it’s still very similar.

Agreed it’s pretty similar. They don’t need a start from scratch it’s just like creating a boeing 777-200er and wanting a boeing 777-300er variant

Yeah but the -300ER was instant. The rest of the 777 variants were developed right after the 777-200ER

Though fixing the 777 inaccuracies is much more difficult than the A350s the most major one is the cockpit windows on the A350. The 777? Well kinda everything, having to fix the nose, engines, wing and other minor things , well it’s a pain and such a ineffective use of resources and time.

Maybe if the 777X comes, the existing 777 model will be used then adjusted to look more to the actual thing before the 777X starts development, but god knows what will happen.

So to make the a350-1000 they need -
A cabin(pretty easy it’s fine if there’s no seats)
Same live cockpit but probably with more features like how we had in the a380
Just a bigger span of the a350-900
Extra wheel cuz there are 3 wheels in a35k
Maybe engine sounds I would love to listen to a roar imo a350 has best engine sounds.
Darker colour of the wheels. The wheels on the a359 look a bit greyish to me. The a380 has the best wheel texture.

Pretty much that’s it I mean those are the major points so you don’t have to start from scratch for this aircraft.

The 777x hasn’t yet started in service. So keep that aside it’s maybe not gonna come any time soon.

A major issue about the 777 was also that it never got working flaperons which is a big disappointment to me

Cabin ain’t just seats bro. Also the cockpit quality is literally fine, maybe reversed Co-pilot PFD but that’s something that I hope shouldn’t take that much time.

Also the entire gear is different. Not just wheels.

Engines sounds would probably be GE sounds.

A359 textures are a bit weird yeah, but still nothing major.
