I heard Edelweiss will retire two more A340s in November leaving them with one.

This shouldn’t be a brake to model/add it anyway, at least the A346 has existed and that point should be kept in mind
I’m not feeling very confortable when I see this king of posts about old aircraft for a Sim when we mostly want it without any certitude of it been modeled soo, eventhough it’s the sad truth reality we all seen

They were to connect to an answer for LH A346; it will be the last until October 18. Only 2 pickup route from JFK, and IAD flying to Frankfurt in the morning on October 19 instead of the 25, and no return service from Riyadh.

I would love to see this plane re done. the nice thing is that the development team could just take the airframe from the airbus 330 300 and rework it and stretch it to the airbus a340-600 length all they would need to do then is to rewoek the wings and engines and add some differences to the flight deck and cabin but other then that it would be easy to re work
