Unfortunately, I ran out of votes, but I would have totally voted for this because the A340 deserves more respect on infinite flight. Here are the reasons:
-The cockpit is worse than most other planes
-The A340 liveries are blurry (my opinion)
-There are very little liveries to choose from

I wonder if the A343 will even be part of the potential rework. Given that the devs have chosen to rework only the 777 variants that are already in game, chances are, only the A340-600 will be reworked.
Ehhhhhhā¦ Not a big fan of the A340 in general. Too may engines for too small an aircraft.

Of course I have. Heck Iāve seen a DC-10 (FedEx I think) Iām just stating my opinion that I think the A340 couldāve been designed better. Are 4 engines really necessary?
Well, back then the issue of ETOPās was still prevalent and with four engines obviously the A340 could get around ETOPās. However, twinjets eventually became the norm (B777) and their range increased, allowing them to fly further away from diversion airports and consequently ETOPās extended. The economics of twinjets will always be superior to quadjets, but for a quadjet the A340-300 sold decently.
What was the underlying purpose of those restrictions if they knew there was going to be a way around them? Thatās like studying for a test and the test is postponed/cancelled. A huge waste of time.
The purpose of ETOPās really is for safety. Back in the day there was a common notion that it would be dangerous to fly a twinjet across the atlantic, hence quadjets made more sense due to the redundancy having four engines provided. Otherwise not sure what youāre referring to.

I do concur that it is a good looking aircraft, the four engines really do contribute to the A340ās aesthetic equilibrium.
