Lol, what? The A330 MRTT is based on the A330-200, not the A330-800neo. The MRTT first flew years before the A330neo program even existed. The A330-800’s poor sales have literally nothing to do with the MRTT. At least check the timeline before confidently making stuff up lol.

To be fair to @TargoHd, though, there is the MRTT+, which is based on the A330-800. It was “recently” released and has recieved 1 order, so the concept/product exists. You could also benefit from checking the timeline
