Airbus A330-200

This has visited Bangalore a couple of times. But the usual aircraft is the RNA A320… I’d still love to see the A330 though

Just random funny decisions. Same with the 737 Max 9 not coming out along with the 737 Max 8. Only 1 variant of the 757 also.

Definitely wanna see this in the sim….specifically for the following liveries

  • Emirates
  • Jet Airways
  • Kingfisher
  • Qantas
  • Etihad
  • Sri Lankan
  • American

And yes I’m aware that most of these are defunct or out of service. But if they jump the gun and release an Emirates A350 more than a year before there was even the remotest sign of the real thing and now have the wrong livery, then I’m sure they can do this

Yeah, I don’t like the fact that they choose to just release one variant of each of the aircraft! They could have also released the max 9 too along with the Max 8!

I genuinely want to know Why! I don’t know much about coding, but is it difficult to shorten / stretch the fuselage and just changing the weight values a bit? Is there something I am missing? Maybe the change in dimensions may cause new errors in the flight characteristics of the aircraft? I genuinely want to know!

I wish they launch all variants of a particular type of aircraft when they release them! Many people are fans of different variants of the aircraft, and I would personally like to fly all of them too! I hope they read this, and also provide answers to why it is difficult to launch all variants, I would love to know more about it!

From a 3D modelling perspective, no. Up to a certain stage it’s easy to develop a model. I do that often. I do that regularly for the models and add-ons I make for other flight and train sims. But yes, up to a certain stage in CAD design, you can develop one common model before making dimensional and detail changes.

It can be done at a later stage too, it’s just extra work.

Coding I’ll let someone else answer.

I still secretly hope this aircraft will come in the Sim. I just like the shape of the A332 more than the stretched variant. (like more cute lol?)
And especially with this (now sadly gone) livery.
That would be genuinely so nice!

The only way you’ll actually understand why it takes so long, is if you actually learn 3d modelling. Now the 3d artists could come in here and give you the exact very reasons why they can’t just stretch and squish the models to slightly alter it, but you probably wouldn’t understand since you have zero knowledge of the subject.

This applies to everything in life. If you want to understand the difficulties and challenges of any process, you must understand that process first :D

hope this (somewhat) answers your question!

Awesome! So if the fuselages are not fully physicalised models with values of lift and drag not included, then I think maybe it would be easier to stretch said fuselage! But if they are fully physicalised, will it alter the flight characteristics and parameters of the aircraft?

I understand that currently in Infinite flight, they are trying to rework all models to have high fidelity graphics and flight characteristics, so maybe its quite hard I suppose.

Amazing livery 🇨🇦❤️

I hope that they could add some airline liveries which don’t have it anymore.
