Airbus A330-200

If we don’t get Hawaiian this addition would be pointless
We only have 2 liveries in the game and both need to be reworked desperately

Agreed. Let’s hope that the 332 will come!

We are only voting on this one so that we can have more liveries and, consequently, more routes, as in Brazil with Azul, TAM and Tap and in Argentina with Aerolienas Argentinas!

Nice idea, got my vote ! (note that its not that different from the A333 but still gives more liveries and can fly longer).

For me it is more of if we don’t get this now, then we won’t. When we had the Boeing 777 rework we had four variants - when the A350 was added we only had the -900, with no sign of the -1000 - we do not want this to happen with the A330.

Had the A330 not won the vote, it probably would never have been reworked. And the fact is, there are two variants of the A330 already in IF, therefore it seems counterproductive to only rework one. The A332 is really wanted due to the huge variety of livery options it opens up - many smaller airlines may only have one or two long haul aircraft; and due to the A332s long range and smaller passenger load this is the aircraft of choice for many niche airlines - some airlines whose only long haul aircraft is or was an A332 include bmi, Tunisair, Monarch, Libyan Airlines, Air Seychelles, Tibet Airline, Air Algerie to name a few

You know that they allready confirmed that they only rework the A330-300 now right?

I mean I get your pojnt, and I’m 100% sure if people would have read the Poll correctly the A330 would not have won becaise of many people thought they will rework/add the -200 aswell, but they dont

I am aware of that. I was responding to your point about not needing this aircraft in the near future explaining why I think we do.

lets continue this in a DM :)

I think some are hopeful about a possible rework of the A332F and the possibility for developers to add the A330-200 as a surprise, just like they did last year reworking the entire 777 family.

I think the A35K wasn’t added because it might not offer such a wide range of routes to be followed by it. And I only can remember Cathay, British, Virgin and Qatar, who also operate them, and of these 4 liveries, 2 are already present on the A359. So I think it would be a “waste of time” to work on a variant that would not bring a significant demand for routes to the simulator, if this is different from the A330-200.

no, they allready confirmed that it will only be the -300 at this point with no confirmed statement wether or not the -200 or the F Version will follow in the near future

@Prepar3Dfreak The Airbus A330’s Trent-700 jets may just be the most beautiful sounding jets in use on any aircraft. I really hope that infinite flight devs use the Trent 700s for the A330’s sound and not the GE CF6s.
The jets sound even better when you’re in front of the wing:

I flew the A330 for the first time last year from PDX-HNL and then HNL-PDX and the engine sound was beautiful!

I still don’t understand why they won’t do the -200 and the -300 at the same time …
_they did the 777-300 and -200 in one go soo, why not for the A330 ?..

Found this on Jetphotos and reminded me that we don’t even have the -200 variant

Just saying that if the A332 were to be added we would be able to gain a great many diverse liveries…

Also I said I’d put a vote back on this, but it turns out I never removed my vote in the first place!

And last thing - with development progressing nicely on the A333, and with the two aircraft sharing a cockpit… Maybe, just maybe, if this topic gets enough votes we can convince the developers to add in the A332 :)

I’ll put a vote here. Would be nice to eventually have both the A332 and A333 in the simulator some day ☺️
