Airbus a321 swaying

My Airbus is swaying to the left and right a lot. I am not over weight nor is my speed to slow. I do have a 63 knot head wind tho. Is the wind the issue? It is constantly swaying and I am wondering how to get rid of it or minimize it?

Try turning off AP Heading and then turn it back on.

Thank you! It helped a little.

At what stage of the flight does it occur?

During Cruise

Where are you flying at?

I’ve noticed this when I fly over New Zealand, typically due to high winds

I am flying from Denver to San Juan and I am in Kansas right now

Also confirm (although improbable, it would contribute to your problem) that you aren’t accidentally bumping and sliding the rudder slider. That would definitely send your plane awonk.

I am not hitting the Rudder

Sounds like AP auto correcting for the wind(don’t quote me on that)

This happens every time I fly this plane

Hmm, interesting. I fly the A321 a bit and I haven’t noticed

Try slowing down abit. What is your current mach cruise speed?

Please read the original post. The winds are stated.

What is your altitude, speed?

502 knots ground speed 32,000 Ft MSL 290°M at 78 knots

What’s your Mach speed? The only thing I’d suggest is disengaging and reengaging autopilot.

Mach .73 I’ve had no other issues with any other planes flying at this speed

Ah yes, speed up to 0.80 or so. 0.82 may be smoother.

This is a bit slow, as it may cause the winds to affect the plane more than usual.

The A321 cruises at Mach 0.78-0.80.
