Airbus A321 Sidestick

So I was just retraining myself with all the aircrafts I would use in global I made a great but quick landing so I chose to look at the replay and look at the movements of the first officers sidestick and I noticed it does’nt move when the captains sidestick moves, it just stays still.
I think this should be fixed as the Airbus a321 is great this is just an extra I would like added or fixed.

Isn’t it like that IRL?

I don’t know actually…
I got to think

Somebody with a little more knowledge may be able to step in here, but I’m fairly sure that the sidesticks are independent of eachother.

The side sticks are not in sync with each other.

Just one of the “quirks” of fly by wire? Unlike mechanical / hydraulic controls which are mostly synchronized?

Yes, they are not connected and synchronised so there is nothing to change and this feature request makes no sens

So I just thought that wouldn’t the captain have to either: share the controls so both have control, or hand full control to the first officer or full control to the captain.

But in the Airbus a380-800 in game it moves together and it is fly by wire.

They don’t move in sync or while in autopilot in real life like the yokes in Boeing.

In the cockpit, the pilots “share” the plane per every flight. For example, if there is a trip for 4 legs, or flights in the day, the captain will be the pilot in command for two of those, and the first officer will be the pilot in command for the other two.

Couldn’t tell you. That is why I ended my statements with question marks. I was giving it my best guess. Hopefully someone who actually pilots Airbus aircraft can step in and let us all know. Maybe the 380 doing it is incorrect? Have you tried it will all of the Airbus aircraft or just these two? However, to be honest, this is really sort of a minuscule feature that the Dev’s time would probably be better suited working on something with slightly more priority and return on investment for the consumer. I’m not saying that synchronizing the sticks is not important, but its perhaps not as important as some other features. But I digress, carry on sir.

This. Also, they are not mechanically linked. There is a button in the cockpit that gives priority to one side stick or the other. So, pointless request

Since it’s airbus’ fly-by-wire system there is no mechanical connection between CPT’s and FO’s sidestick

It’s correct like it is on the IF A320 family
