Airbus A320 Rework

The first A320’s are quite a sight to behold!

This can come with the A320neo addition

What advantages to the A320 would carry a rework? It’s perfectly fine as it is IMHO. I know the Neo will come on the future, but that one is a completely new aircraft.

You have my vote! I’d just like to hear the sound of those CFM-56 engines, as well as see both winglets…

and also sharklets…

available, as many airlines use both.

I totally agree, but a A320 rework shouldn’t be top priority for IF. More like a 767, or other legacy aircraft would be first. I will say though, I would like a better quality of some liveries for the family. The American liveries on the A320 and the -21, seem to be stretched and not great quality, but this would definitely come with the rework.

A version without sharklets?

Just compare the cockpit of the A320 to pretty much any other aircraft with live cockpit.

There aren’t any differences, the entire A320 family has live cockpit.

So, you’re telling me that this…

…is the same quality as this?

Still no need to have an A320 rework, it’s fine as it is unless something game changing is developed.

Such as… an A320neo (presumably, as the MAX will be this way) built partly reusing parts from the existing A320 and partly from scratch, reusing those new parts on the legacy A320?

I don’t know how much commonality the A320 NEO has with the CEO. If the cockpit is the same, then an HD refresh would certainly be welcomed.

The Max is logical to use as many components from the regular 738 because that’s what Boeing did to put the aircraft into the air fast.

So could we then down-cycle components from the Next Generation (NG) to form the classic (-300, -400, and -500) variants? 🤔 In theory?

I believe the cockpit is somewhat similar to the old a320, but with more information displayed on the flight displays, and also the addition of a hud. I hope that the developers implement a functioning hud on all their new reworked aircraft, such as the a320neo, b737max, and possibly if they plan to release the a330 800 neo, and the a350 1000. It helps make cockpit view landings much more immersive and informative! Also would be nice if they implemented different sounds for the different engines. I personally love the IAE V2500 idle sound!

Is this request for the A320 only or the family? I can’t tell…

Sorry, I thought that people would take more than two seconds to read what I actually wrote. I incorrectly assumed that the photo, specific aircraft dimensions, and exclusion of mentioning the other aircraft in the family made it very, very clear what I was requesting.

I can make it more clear for you if you’d like, however I’d recommend actually reading what people write.

Well honestly since the family is an “A320” family and not “A321” family, and with IF having all A320 family variants I thought it was…
