Applications for teams have closed, the line-up of nations is final. We have a total of 4 teams that will be competing across 11 disciplines in 5 events. Team Australia, Team Great Britian, Team Lebanon, and Team USA will be taking center stage in this years games as they compete for a chance at the number one team in the IFC. We look forward to the fierce competition, and we wish every competitor the best of luck at these games.
Schedule
We have also finalized a schedule, and you’ll be seeing some event threads for the most popular with instructions on where spectators can view the action. Below, I have attached the final schedule. The overview will show you how many events of each completion there will be on a certain day, and the date tabs will give you more specific information for each one. Please note that for better attendance, the Opening Ceremony has been moved to Friday, with Practice/Qualifying Events taking place Thursday (spectators are able to attend these events.) Schedule could see minor tweaks for more attendance on weekdays.
Sponsorships
We are also pleased to announce three sponsorships, and their generous donations to the competing teams. We will now be able to offer prizes to the competing pilots. @epaga has agreed to give 12 free copies each of his two apps, IF-I and IF-A, these will be given to first and second-place teams. @Maxmustang will make a $100 donation to the winning team’s charity of choice. A third sponsor remains anonymous at this time, however, they will be revealed before the Closing Ceremony.
We look forward to hosting these winter games, good luck to all, and we’ll see you Friday for the Opening Ceremony! Please let us know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. Also, be sure to keep a lookout for details regarding the Opening Ceremony in a separate event thread.
The sponsorships are again, greatly appreciated.🤗
Oh god, were trusting @Luke_Kelly to train GB pilots on Landings 😫😭
Haha
Anyway, pumped for the event, let’s get some competition going!
Probably contact the Team Leader about that

3rd Sponsor Announcement
With yesterdays announcement of 2 sponsors (IF-A, IF-I from Epaga and $100 Donation to a charity of the winners choice from Maxmustang), I am happy to announce our third Core Sponsor, VirtualLink!
What is this App: VirtualLink is a third party app developed by VirtualFlight. Currently, this app is only available for iOS. We are hoping to release this app later down the line. This app implements VNAV to Infinite Flight. This feature is not available stand-alone in IF. Find out more information about VNAV here
This app was developed by @Dragos, @Casa, @anon49271947, @DS2001, and Ethan of VirtualFlight

Ok, I just realized that I can’t make any of the zulu times before 2200 on weekdays. Most of my events are like 6AM or 7AM for me (PST). Is there any way I can compete at an alternative time for my events?
@Haifan_Day 2200Z in PST is actually 3PM… There are no alternate times, scheduling events for people across 10 time zones just doesn’t work that way, but if you’re in PST, there shouldn’t be any events that early.
This is an amazing event and I’m honoured to train and take part in this. There are some amazing contenders and even from 5 minute training sessions I can see unlimited potential in so many of our pilots for various teams.
We have some awesome sponsorship (An unprecedented bonus, thanks guys!) And the most dedicated pilots on the forum. Here’s to some amazing airalympics games!
