Air Transat to receive A321 LR in April

Air Transat is due to receive its first A321 NEO LR by the end of April. (C-GOIE)

They will be the first operator of NEO LR in North America. Air Transat will use the A321LR to cross the pond with greater efficency, and thus replacing the old, outdated A310s, which are to be phased out within the next few years. Air Transat is one of the few remaining operators of the A310 for passenger service, with some airframes holding over 100’000 hours of flight in their logbook.

Those A321s also will have an overwing exit to replace the usual #2 main doors, allowing more versatility to configure the cabin.
