Air To Air Frequency Thread

PLEASE READ: (I’m surprised this isn’t already an existing thing… I thought it may not be aloud in ifc but I haven’t seen anything against it so…)

Hello everybody! Ever on a long haul flight and wish there was an air to air frequency to talk to other pilots to pass the time? Well, here is the thread to do so! In real life, I’ve heard pilots talk to each other recreationally when they are bored on the air to air frequency! Feel free to post anything, and talk to pilots alike! Please only use this thread while in flight for realism purposes.

"Fingers" : Frequency 123.45 Pilot Unicom

In 2017 on our group flight to Oshkosh we used a frequency pilots refer to as “fingers”, it is simply 12345 (frequency 123.45). This allowed us to coordinate our flight of 3 throughout the trip and a few times we ran across other pilots on the same frequency. Since then I’ve always wondered how we could adopt this to Infinite Flight. There have been a few idea on the forum about chats, but unfortunately that is not possible in App. Also, despite my searches, I haven’t see a fully flushed out ide…

It’s also worth pointing out that there is a discord thread that all pro subscribers have access to. You have the ability to chat with other pilots via text, or even Voice call.

Might make more sense just to use that rather than creating a thread for it.
