Now it’s flying one of its future routes from Paris to Dakar (even though the wrong airport)

At least we know it flys

No it was planned in fact, it’s not like just wrong ahah. They’ll go to DSS after

Yeah, it is. If scheduled as a commercial route the route would be Dakar-CDG so this is the wrong airport

Making a remake for this request:

I’m happy that they received it in 2 days, they didn’t pull an Air Austral A220 delivery energy at least cause 💀

Here’s a video of the ceremony celebrating Air Senegal brand new A220 !

Watch 0:24->1:40, 2:02-> 2:10 and 6:10->6:26 for the A220 shots!

The other parts are mostly speech, I’ll maybe translate some facts that were said.

And for Air Senegal A220 taxiing + whale sound and water salute 😍 @MxP :

45:33 → 51:00

It just did the first flight : Dakar to Casablanca

Don’t know if it’s training flight or not, but +3h for a training flight tho? Maybe it’s a real flight or not, I hope we’ll have informations about it soon. AF used to do short flight when testing their A220.

Thanks to @Ousmane_Ndiaye for sharing that on discord

I think it is a test flight because the normal flight number is HC332 and the flight is only scheduled to resume in February due to Moroccon travel restrictions.

I can’t wait to see it at Geneva !
Air Baltic came back and Air France will probably come with their A220 in a near future (as A318/A319 are getting retired 😍).
Another A220 operator is always welcome, especially operators to Africa 🔥 !

A pity that they didn’t do test flights since the 05th Jan…

After the flight to Casablanca [04 Jan] and the circles around Dakar [05 Jan and 08 Jan], they started test flights between Dakar and Banjul days ago [since 09 Jan]. That flight (one way) lasts 20-30 mins so it’s kinda helpful for testing.

I wonder when this session will be completed in order to start real flights 👀
