Device: iPad mini (5th generation) Operating system: ios 16.3.1
Hi all,
I’ve had an issue where I started a flight and it gave me a speed warning whilst at the gate. Jetbridges/airstairs did not connect, AP was on at the gate and control column experienced a full right hardover which did not respond to recalibration. For reference; my previous flight I paused using flight resume, however, was unable to resume this flight due to IF saying that it had encountered an error whilst trying to do so (which I’ve experienced on all my flight resumes since 24.4).
For recreation purposes -
Flight resume used inflight OEMA-OJAI on RJ B788
New flight started at HECA using RJ B788 and the same callsign. I refreshed the app and restarted the device inbetween sessions.
Flight resume saves GS not IAS so it probably has your internal state doing whatever speed you were doing, and then is trying to calculate what IAS that is on the ground sending your “internal” IAS to the moon. AP on too, that shouldn’t be usable at the gate.
Thanks Andrew - I’ll add the AP issue to the topic description. Regardless, this was a new flight so shouldn’t be using a combination of the flight resume session and the new session.
