Air New Zealand operate 30 Airbus A320 on short haul and domestic operations around the Pacific and Australia.
The Black beauty aircraft ZK-OAB was the first Domestic A320 to be delivered to Air New Zealand’s Fleet In 2010 replacing the aging 737-300 aircraft. It was originally painted In the “all blacks livery” but was repainted to this new and I would say improved livery. The “Black beauty” livery is a new version of the “all blacks livery” which features on the 787-9, 777-300ER aircraft as well.
This aircraft was one of the earlier A320 aircraft air nz ordered without winglets. I will check I think there may be Aircraft with this livery and winglets.
Ha what a joke. I predicted it when I said “Air NZ is doing themselves a disservice by painting their aircraft black.”
It would still be pretty good to see the original livery.
