Air India Full Fleet New Livery!

Air India recently unveiled a brand-new livery for its fleet, which is part of a significant modernization effort after the airline was acquired by the Tata Group. This transformation includes new aircraft acquisitions, including Boeing 787 Dreamliners, Airbus A320neo, Boeing 777, and Airbus A350. Here’s a breakdown of the new livery and aircraft details:

1. New Air India Livery:

  • Design Elements: The new livery retains a red, white, and gold color scheme but with a modern and more sophisticated design.
  • Logo: Air India introduced a new logo called “The Vista,” inspired by the peak of a golden window frame, symbolizing limitless possibilities and upward progress.
  • Aircraft Tail: The tail design features bold diagonal stripes in red and gold, while the fuselage has a refreshed Air India title in a clean font, and the underbelly showcases a stylized “Air India” in Hindi.
  • Windows & Colors: The windows retain the original outline that mimics the look of palace windows, a nod to the airline’s heritage.

2. Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner:

  • Features: Air India has been upgrading its fleet with Boeing 787s, which are known for their fuel efficiency and long-haul capabilities. The Dreamliners will feature the new livery and redesigned interiors that align with premium international standards.
  • Interior: Expect high-end seats with improved in-flight entertainment, lie-flat business class seats, and enhanced cabin services.
  • Usage: These aircraft are primarily used for long-haul routes to Europe, North America, and other international destinations.

3. Airbus A320neo:

  • Features: The A320neo is a single-aisle, fuel-efficient aircraft suited for domestic and short-haul international routes.
  • New Cabin: These aircraft will feature updated interiors with mood lighting, modern seats, and better legroom.
  • Efficiency: The A320neo’s advanced engines and aerodynamics make it more environmentally friendly with lower emissions and fuel consumption.
  • Livery Application: The new livery will also be applied to these domestic workhorses.

4. Boeing 777 (777X):

  • Fleet Expansion: Air India is expanding its Boeing 777 fleet, which includes both the existing 777-300ER and potentially newer 777X variants. The aircraft is known for its range and passenger capacity, making it ideal for ultra-long-haul flights.
  • Premium Cabins: The 777s are being retrofitted with new first-class, business class, and economy class configurations.
  • Livery Impact: The wide-body aircraft with the new livery gives Air India a refreshed global image on its key international routes.

5. Airbus A350:

  • New Additions: Air India has placed orders for the Airbus A350, marking the airline’s entry into operating this modern wide-body aircraft.
  • Features: The A350 is known for its advanced aerodynamics, fuel efficiency, and quiet, comfortable cabins. The aircraft offers greater range, ideal for connecting India to more distant global destinations.
  • Premium Experience: The A350 will have cutting-edge cabin designs, with enhanced comfort across all classes, modernized IFE (in-flight entertainment), and better cabin pressurization for passenger well-being.
  • Long-Haul Routes: The A350s are expected to be deployed on ultra-long-haul international routes.

Overall Focus:
Air India’s fleet overhaul, including the new livery and cabin upgrades, represents a significant shift towards positioning itself as a premium global airline, shedding its older image. This transformation is part of the airline’s wider plan to compete with global carriers on both service and fleet efficiency.

Any moderate please add in “LIVERY CATEGORY” as im unable to do so.

Hi

Unfortunately this should have been in Real World Aviation as General is only for topics infinite flight related only.

Note that you will need to be TL2 to post in RWA.

RWA is the abbreviation for Real World Aviation.

Since you are TL2, you can copy this topic and create a new one there

He’s not talking about making a RWA topic.

I have created new and it will public Okay

Well you technically can’t make a one single livery request for one livery to be added on several different aircraft.

You can create separate topics for this livery to be added onto the 787-9 and the A320Neo since one aircraft is already in the game and the other has been confirmed to developed next.

You can’t create a livery request for the 777-X because that aircraft has no been confirmed yet. With that being said you can vote for the aircraft to be added here:

Lastly, we already have the new livery on the A350

Please close it okay

Yah, i was wrong and system has also sended me the same. I will take care before creating new ones
