Air India Express A321neo
Air India Express recently inducted its first two Airbus A321neo aircraft; transferred from parent Air India to expand capacity on high-demand domestic routes. These jets were brought into service starting mid-April 2025, deploying on routes such as Delhi–Bengaluru, Delhi–Srinagar, Delhi–Ayodhya, and Jaipur. Configuration options vary: one layout offers 12 Business + 180 Economy seats, while another all-Economy layout seats 232 passengers. Presently, Air India Express operates a mixed fleet of around 100 aircraft, mainly A320s and Boeing 737 models, with the A321neo marking a strategic step toward using larger narrow-body aircraft to boost capacity on key routes
