Air India included a 20 order B787-9 in their mammoth order list of confirming 290 Boeing aircrafts back in 2023. The first Air India B787-9 in the new livery and Air India’s first, (Not including the B789s that were merged into from Vistara).
The aircraft has been registered and will receive the VT-AWA registration.
The Aircraft is currently being delivered to Air India and will be arriving VIDP at 11:25pm IST

Over the last 2 years, the new livery has really grown on me. I honestly can’t imagine the game without it now.

I initially had a neutral reaction when this livery revealed
I was sad that they were removing the traditional elements from livery (like the designs on window and all) but now this livery feels so good
