Airline Information
Air Greenland / Greenlandair is the flag carrier of Greenland. Air Greenland is jointly owned with the SAS group and the Greenlandic and Danish government. The airline provides scheduled service between villages in Greenland, charter service, and international service from Copenhagen to a few larger airports in Greenland. The airline also supports remote research stations and provides medivacs in their Beechcraft King Air. Another cool thing about them is that they have both a fixed-wing fleet and a helicopter fleet.
A330 Information
The Airbus A330 is a medium- to long-range wide-body twin-engine jet airliner made by Airbus. The A330 is the only Jetliner owned by Air Greenland after the airline (sadly) retired its 757. After SAS abandoned Greenlandic service, the A330 Norsaq was purchased. The A330 is used for European Charters from travel agencies and daily nonstop services from Europe to Greenland. The livery features a red fuselage with the airline’s white logo representing the country’s flag. Registration: OY-GRN
If the a330 is reworked and if the a330-200 is added as a passenger aircraft I will vote for this. Ive seen it lots of times in person and that livery is stunning. You really have to see it for yourself to get an idea of it!
