Air France retires 1 out of it’s 10 a380’s
Today (23rd of November), the airbus a 380 with reg: F-HPJB was flown from Malta to Paris. Where the aircraft will be painted all white and then returned to the a380’s owner lessors Dr. Peters Group. F-HPJB was delivered on the 10th February 2010. Although the a380 isn’t my favourite aircraft it’s still a iconic one.

EDIT: Also just want to say Thank you so much for all the likes and comments, to wake to over 60 comments and 200+ views made my day.

The A380 was a good plane. Now it’s time for it to retire. RIP A380.

no worries, don’t be afraid to ask something to the community

And how fast does Air France intend to withdraw the rest of its A380s?

by 2022 Air France are “hoping” to have retired all 10, but will all be painted white so although Air France wont have them they will still fly

It is a real pity that Air France does not improve the cabins of these A380s and keep them in its fleet.

The A380’s legacy is not over yet. Emirates plans to keep them in the fleet through 2030. Don’t get so sad just yet!

Ok, that’s good.

i dont think its all down to the cabin, the main reasons is that there is newer aircraft that can go the same distance or further and not burn and give off so much fumes, the newest aircraft etc A350,B787 are more cost effective and are easy to operate
