Hello, IFC.
I was doing homework in my room this morning, when I heard a very loud roar. I tried to stay concentrated, but being the avgeek I am, I ran out with my camera and almost missed AF1 flying a few thousand feet above my house!!!
Does anyone know if this is the real one and where it was going from/to? This was above Palm Springs!
Thank You!!!
This is my first time seeing it!
I hope you like the photos!

I would imagine the president was in that. Would have been cool to listen to ATC
Yeah, but it was alone (no escort)
Anyone know why?
Then it was probably ferrying it
Ok.
So Trump is in Palm Springs?
President Trump is in Palm Springs briefly for a meeting it looks like. His schedule is here: https://factba.se/topic/calendar
What lense did you use?
A canon SX60 HS (fixed lens) why?
That’s cool to see
14 likes in 16 minutes?!?
wow
Why wasn’t it on Flightradar24? 😢
jkjkjk
Can anyone identify the jet at 30,000 feet in the first pic?
F-15 Eagle
Why thank you!
😊
Air Force one typically doesn’t get escorted unless it’s in a combat zone
Not even by other (fake AF1s?)
@Camille, I can confirm this. I myself saw the Air Force One fly above my school. It was difficult to see, but I saw it had 4 engines and it was blue, just like the USAF plane. I couldn’t get a good picture
When I checked the news, it said President Trump had landed around 11:03 AM in Moffett Airfield (KNUQ). I saw it at exactly 11:00 AM.
I’m pretty sure you just saw the actual USAF plane with President Trump on board.
Correct the actual jet rarely gets escorted
Well not exactly… Whenever Air Force 1 is in the air; or the President is on the ground, the USAF will always be in close proximity to their location and be more than ready to be of use
Awesome catch dude!
