Air Force 1 at Amsterdam schiphol

As currently from 24-25th June there is the NATO summit in The Hauge. many NATO and none NATO states arrived yesterday at Amsterdam schiphol Airport. the highlight as always at such events was the US Air Force B747-200 VC25. so i choose to drive the 2½ hrs from Germany all the way to Amsterdam to hopefully get a great Daylight shot of The VC25. In 2022 in Munich i wasn’t lucky. there it arrived in pitch black night.

So after waiting many hours at the Airport spotting other Government Aircraft the moment of thruh was comming. am i at the right spot or not. Turns out no I wasn’t so quickly got in to the car drove 5 mins to another spot as the VC25 didn’t want to land on RWY18C they choos the 24 wich is rarely ised for landing at Schiphol. and then finaly with just seconds left till landing i arrived and got my shots.

When the air Force 757 was landing, I was already at the Pier H gates waiting for my delayed flight. Once started boarding, I walked out and looked up just to see three military helicopters flying below 1,000ft above our Ryanair. It was like a move scene! :heart_eyes: They were flying towards the Polderbaan.

Not as crazy as me, flew yesterday early morning to Schiphol and returned the same day in the late evening.

When on final approach into Schiphol, I could see a Gray Canadian A330 and an a319 or a318 with Ukrainian flag. Had a nice view of Polderbaan.
