Air China Recieves 1st 737MAX 8

On Friday, November 3rd, Air China took delivery of their first of forty-four Boeing 737MAX8 aircraft. They will be the first airline in China to operate the type. If anyone wants to track it, the registration is B-1397.

Here it is pictured, landing at Paine Field, prior to delivery.

Looks really distinctive!

That livery just ruins it.

TBH I really like the Air China Livery. It really has the Chinese feel to it. I don’t know what you are talking about.

The livery screams 1970s, the aircraft screams 2017. Such a clash. Yuck.

I tracked it when it was going to China. First it went from Paine Field to Honolulu than from there I didn’t track it but probably to somewhere in China.

In my opinion they really should update their livery. But the plane is beautiful:)

It’s great they’re ordering some. I feel they should update their livery, looking a little outdated.

I’m talking as a Chinese: it looks like 20 years old with this livery :(

Hell yeah! One person actually agrees with me lol.

Personally I think the livery is fine. It really represents the Chinese standard.

To be honest it does make the max 8 look outdated, but it’s also distinctive, so its a give and take for me., still a beautiful aircraft none the less

No offense, but this livery looks way way too old for the 737MAX.
