Air China Flight Forced to Descend nearly 20,000 feet because of Vaping First Officer.

An Air China 737 from HKG to PEK had a rapid descent because of the co-pilot vaping. He had originally planned to turn off cabin air conditioning to prevent the passengers from smelling the fumes, but ended up toggling a wrong switch leading to a drop in oxygen levels. I personally think that this was unacceptable, and that it was wrong of the co-pilot to endanger the lives of the passengers. What do you guys think?

I thought vaping was just another form of smoking. I have seen people vaping in the mall near my house. They (the copilot) should be fired as this could have turned out a whole lot worse. Maybe next time they should read the No Smoking Sign or even the saftey video.

Oop! Sorry! I was using “Vape” instead of “Smoking” for my search for duplicates. Mods can close this.
