Air Canada to bring back two 30+ year old Boeing 767s to passenger service!

In a world where airlines are retiring their passenger 767s, Air Canada plans to reactivate two of the former Canadian Airlines 767s back to passenger service! According to Planespotters.net, C-FOCA and C-GCLA are active alongside the freighters. They plan to re-enter service next year.

Really excited to see them bringing them back in service too, wonder if they will acquire an ex-Delta ones, or even some of the retired Rouge ones

Most likely, I don’t see them repainting the 767s if it might only be temporarily

I work for the airline. We are short aircraft with a lot of our A220 grounded and the late delivery of our 787-10. I don’t think the they gonna repaint the 767s with the new livery and they gonna keep the old interior as well.

Found an ex-Condor 767 that Air Canada could acquire, D-ABUK! All other ex-Condor 767s have been acquired and converted into freighters…

Reliability versus the future…
With Boeing QC issues on current projects and a plethora of spare parts, it makes sense to put one of the twins back in service.
The twins were the best planes modern Boing Boing ever built.

toothpaste is such a funny term for this hahahaha
