Air Australia a brief history

So early I made some aircraft requests for strategic airlines and Air Australia and found it interesting and thought it would be good to share it with you guys.

Strategic airlines was founded in 1991 and was used as a charter to transport unusual cargo. In the early 2000s Michel James joined the airline and got a contract with RAAF as a airlift.

In 2009, the first a330-200 was registered (VH-SSA). In September the same year the ‘Australian Operators Ceritifecat’. The same year strategic bought OzJet, this included Ozjets staff. It also received the Perth-Derby route which was operated by an alliance F100 until 2010 when Air Australia a320. Later on 17 February 2012, the discussion was made to put the airline into Administration. The following year (2012) the airline went into liquidation
