About Air Astana
Air Astana (Kazakh: Эйр Астана) is the national carrier and flag airline of Kazakhstan, based in Almaty. The airline operates from its primary hubs at Almaty International Airport and Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport in Astana. Established in 2001 as a joint venture between the Government of Kazakhstan’s Samruk-Kazyna fund (51%) and BAE Systems (49%), Air Astana commenced operations on May 15, 2002. Known for its high service standards, it has been named “Best Airline in Central Asia and India” multiple times by Skytrax.

About the Airbus A321-200
The Airbus A321-200 is a stretched variant of the A320 family of narrow-body airliners produced by Airbus. Featuring a longer fuselage than the A320, the A321-200 offers increased passenger capacity and extended range. It is powered by CFM56-5B or IAE V2500 engines, with improvements over the earlier A321-100, including higher maximum takeoff weight (93,000 kg) and optional additional fuel tanks for a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles (5,600 km). Air Astana configures its A321-200 with 28 Business Class and 151 Economy Class seats, optimized for medium-haul international and domestic routes.
