About the Airbus A330-900neo
The Airbus A330-900neo (neo for “New Engine Option”) is a wide-body airliner developed by Airbus as an advanced variant of the A330 family. Powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, it offers a range of 7,200 nautical miles (13,334 km) and up to 25% better fuel efficiency than its predecessor, the A330-200. The A330-900neo features Airbus’ Airspace cabin, with enhanced comfort, larger overhead bins, and modern in-flight entertainment. Air Algérie’s A330-900neo is expected to seat 280–320 passengers, configured with Business, Premium Economy, and Economy classes, tailored for long-haul routes.
Ooo yay another new A330 Neo operator! Would be so amazing to see Air Algérie, Air Côte d’Ivoire, Hainan Airlines on the A339 in IF and MEA once they have received there first aircraft!
The third Algerian A330-900neo has been spotted!
Registered 7T-VLA, this ex-Air Belgium neo, which is stored at Tarbes, is now wearing the Air Algerie colours.
Will definitely be voting for this and Air Côte d’Ivoire A339’s once the Neos come out!
