After Pushback

I was issued an instruction to Continue Taxi on TS today at JFK. The bad news was it was after pushback was approved and I didn’t get clearance to taxi to an active runway. Can someone verify that you need clearance to taxi to an active runway? I need verification for this.

Ok. Thanks. I just needed to make sure. I’ll read the manuals according to all country Regulations for ATC and Taxi clearance.

Yeah honestly sometimes on TS you just have to go with what you know is correct (assuming you actually know what’s correct) because literally anyone with a pro subscription can control on there.

You don’t need to actually, knowing you need clearance is pretty much Aviation Common Sense!

No. You have it confused. I had a problem with ATC Clearance at JFK for my last flight.

Thanks. Continuing a taxi without clearance isn’t common sense in my book on the Training Server. All I know is that I do need ATC Clearance to taxi for Departure.
