Why is Air France on the b787-10 and not the b787-9?
You can vote for the AF 787-9 here:
I think the most accepted explanation is that Air France had a 787-10 order around the time the 787 came out in IF, and KLM had an A350-900 order (hence why there is a KLM A350-900 in the game). However, I believe the airlines switched orders since they’re under the same group, so Air France ended up with the A350s and KLM the 787-10s. The 787-10 has a lot less operators than the 787-9 so I assume IF wanted operators who had both to be on the -10 rather than the -9, that way the -10 didn’t have 0 liveries.
I understand better, thank you! It’s true that Air France and KLM have swapped orders. What’s more, Air France is unfortunately giving up its b787s, which will surely go to KLM.
