AeroRadarX has many features completed currently and many more coming in the near future:
AeroRadarX currently uses Infinite Flight Live API service to fetch flights from its service.
AeroRadarX can show over 5000 continous flights on a live OSM map integration. This integration gives AeroRadarX a clean amazing look! and one that is very functional. Flight icons are unique to bring to peoples attention!
Whenever you tap a flight that flights info will be shown like this. All info is completely fetched from Infinite Flight API hence users who have hidden their profile name will not show up. (This feature is currently work in progress hence it is not be perfect as of now). Liveries of each airline will be added soon. currently we have divided them by aircraft type. Positions is for all those geographical experts🤓 which can pinpoint the flight to its exact coordinates.
Dark Mode and Light Mode is a new feature to AeroRadarX! it gives a stylish new look thanks to the carto integration in MapLibre! The Dark Mode shows dynamicity and professionalism, light mode and dark mode can be toggled between. All Features remain same just the modes are changing. This is defenetely a cool feature!
The Search feature allows users to search for other users flight by just using their username! Just type it in and click ‘Show Flight’ and it will automatically show the persons flight and info. This feature makes AeroRadarX a gamechanger in Live flight tracking services. Usernames and Callsigns can be used as identifiers for search for any flight!. Heading and Direction will also be shown! All features shown here are subject to become better as updates get released!
Upcoming Features:
3D Map: Shown in the product demonstration. it had a large amount of issues hence to meet the launch period we have removed it for now. it is currently being worked on so be ready!
Liveries: Liveries for each aircraft will be added and it is a very time consuming process hence it might take some time. But be ready
Here’s what I would comment about it: these plane icons are lowkey weird. It’s like a floating hexagon and UFOs flying. Also, the colors just…don’t fit into the bright map.
What I recommend? You can either opt for a dark map with white or light colored plane icons or for a white map (the current one) and adjust the plane icons so they are fully visible and do not confuse your eyes.
Additionally, you could aim to specialize the aircraft icons according to the model, like a larger plane for a LH, a smaller plane for a SH, you get what I mean. Each plane with its unique icon, if feasible on your end. Having everything as one single icon is slightly tedious, perhaps add a bit of diversity into it!
Yeah surprisingly there aren’t much plane svg icons out there. I chose one which looked good. I will take it into consideration and change it as required
This is cool, but I have a genuine question: what does your flight tracker have to offer that others don’t? Infinite View is one of the most popular, I personally use InfiniteInfo and InfiniteHorizon for my phone and computer respectively. There’s also InfiniteX, and perhaps more that I don’t know about. And all of them offer more features than what yours does
My point is that in order to take traction, you gotta offer something new and useful. While it is definitely very cool that you built this all yourself, and I don’t want to downplay all of your work that you’ve put into this, it’s almost like trying to design a new iPhone that does most of the things an iPhone already does.
For instance, this isn’t a game changer. All of the other flight trackers also have the search function.
Now, don’t let my comment stop you from doing what you love. I for one don’t have the knowledge and skill to design this myself, and if I did I would certainly want to share it too! These are just some critiques that can hopefully take your work to the next level! And feel free to criticize my response, I know it isn’t perfect
great work @Ryan_and_Riona. should’ve waited/worked a bit longer to add more to it they dont have to be new ideas, they could just be presented in a different way that captivates the eye, otherwise I can see it working with your other tools that your working on, keep on working on this tool adding more ideas etc, ideas will eventually go through. One more thing, the flight info window is a bit too plain, I hope it doesnt stay like that, Good luck!

All those features actually exist in Infinite view with the pro sub which I owned once. Nevertheless it’s nice having a alternative if you’re willing to make it for free
I think we need to have something game changer like flight radar 24 with their tinkering and algorithms currently nothing exists close to that. Maybe that could be the end game of flight trackers we have for IF.
