Aeromexico will soon take delivery of a new Boeing 737 MAX 9 from Boeing, with the registration being XA-GQS. However, this will be a special delivery as the plane went out of the paint shop with a special painting, which was unveiled by Aeromexico today, in celebration of their upcoming 90 year anniversary.
Designed on fashion likes of the B787-9 “Quetzalcóatl” livery, this plane does represent “Kukulkan”, which means “Serpiente Emplumada”, and is an important god for the Mayan Culture. The livery was designed by Edgar Saner.
Best livery they’ve done since Quetzalcóatl, to be honest. I give it a 1000000 of 10!
Yup, I agree. But this one wins, if I’m honest, because while it has the special painting, the traditional white background on the plane makes it a really good combo
I read an article about the new livery and it will be implemented onto their entire fleet so it’s likely the 90th anniversary Max 9 also has it. It just hasn’t been reveal yet
