With the recent poll between the A320 Neo and the B737-8 Max, I decided to make this request for the B737-8 of Aerolineas Argentinas.
Starting 2017, AR began receiving the first of what would be a fleet of 9 Max 8s, with three more being on order. The first airframe that arrived to Argentina was LV-GVD. With this aircraft AR became the first South American user to fly the Max 8, so I think it’d be an obvious choice regarding livery development.
Aerolineas Argentinas is the current flag carrier of Argentina. It came to be after the merger of four companies: The legendary Aeroposta Argentina (of which Jean Mermoz was part of), Aviación del Litoral Fluvial Argentino (ALFA), Flota Aérea Mercante Argentina (FAMA), and Zonas Oeste y Norte de Aerolíneas Argentinas (ZONDA, name that received a hot and dry wind that descends from the Andes and hits Mendoza and Córdoba provinces between May and November).
The picture isn’t mine (link below), showing LV-GVE landing at Aeroparque. However, if you guys think I should add a better photo, do tell me and I’ll change it.
Again, AR was the first South American airline to receive the Max, so the addition of this livery should be considered.
To keep on with the formalities, I’ll be voting for this request.
AR is set to receive three more Maxes, which were originally going to be delivered to Ukraine International Airlines. Read about it in the following link:
