As we head into the busy December flying season, we all know the struggle: you want to perform a high-realism long-haul or a complex regional hop, but you only have a limited window of time. Usually, that time is swallowed up by SimBrief, gate research, and weather charts.

Aero brief is here to give you that time back.

Launching in early December, I am introducing a Boutique Dispatch & Planning Service. This isn’t just a flight plan; it’s a curated ‘Flight Packet’ designed to make you feel like a real airline captain without the 20-minute prep work.

It’s early February. You’ve got 10 months till early December… otherwise, this looks interesting. Do you mind expounding on what you mean by precision planning? Simbrief does all of this with the entering of a few values. But the Gate and Taxi intelligence sounds interesting

Hi everyone,

I’m excited to share a first look at AeroBrief, a specialized dispatch tool I’ve been developing for the Infinite Flight community.

We’ve all been there: you’ve just planned a long-haul in an A350 or a massive A380, you spawn in, and you realize you’re at a regional gate or a stand that’s far too small. AeroBrief is built to fix that.

What is AeroBrief?

AeroBrief isn’t just a flight planner; it’s a “Gate Intelligence” engine. It uses custom logic to categorize your aircraft and match it to a physically compatible gate at your arrival airport.

Current Features:

Smart AC Categorization: Automatically recognizes 30+ aircraft types across 4 size classes (Small, Medium, Heavy, and Super).

Precision Gate Mapping: Initial database includes hand-seeded gates for major hubs including EGLL (London Heathrow), KJFK (New York), KLAX (Los Angeles), and OMDB (Dubai).

Cargo vs. Pax Logic: Differentiates between passenger terminals and cargo ramps to ensure you park where your livery belongs.

Live Backend: Powered by a dedicated API to ensure fast, real-time responses.

Note: This is an early Work-In-Progress (WIP). I am currently expanding the airport database and building out a more robust user interface.

[BETA] New Automated Flight Planner - Milestone Reached! :rocket:

Hey everyone!

I’m hyped to announce that I’ve officially reached a huge milestone—my new flight planning app is finished and ready for its first round of testing!

I wanted something that felt modern and stayed true to a clean aesthetic while taking the manual work out of routing.

What’s new:

  • Instant Route Generation: Just enter your Departure, Arrival, and Aircraft.

  • Auto-Waypoints: It automatically fetches the full route and waypoints for you.

  • Custom Theme: A polished, dark-mode web interface designed for pilots.

The app is currently in BETA. I’m looking for feedback to help me squash bugs and polish the experience. Please let me know:

Hey man, just noticed this things happening on the mobile version. (As shows in the screenshot) I also keep clicking the show flight route on map but nothing seems to happen.

Also add gate assignments based on airlines, of course it’s a long shot but it’s worth the trouble, cheers.

Thank so much for telling me about it.

On flight route and stuf you have to click on show route on map and it automatically shows there but here is the twist :knot: you have to manually go to the IF live traffic and the route will appear iknowitisabitlaggy :tired_face:

In my opinion, some features seem necessary: ​​dark mode, the option to set departure time and date, detailed route creation including SID/STAR procedures, and details about fuel and weather conditions along the route as you mentioned. It would be great if these were added over time and you became an alternative to existing applications. I’m eagerly waiting to see how it develops!
