Today after 25 years Aer Lingus has officially retired the 1999 livery on its A320 fleet
EI-DVE left Dublin at 07:10 operating EI630 to Brussels then EI993 to Shannon arriving there at 10:20. EI-DER was flown back to Dublin this afternoon and will do its first flight in the new livery to Nice.
Itâs end of an era for the 1999 livery for Aer Lingusđ˘ No more!
I am not a fan of the newest livery IMO. Same for Aer Lingus brand, never quite recovered itâs uniqueness since IAG bought the airline. Talk about dumbing down.
BA have been going downhill - two airlines used to be very respectable with solid brands is now no longer different from the likes of Ryanair who have gone strength to strength.
Why would I fly with Aer Lingus when there are far better competition out there.
