Aer Lingus A350

So I was checking out the Japan Airlines A350 the other day and it crossed my mind that Aer Lingus had also ordered the A350. I remember asking my friends about it two years ago and they told me that the Aer Lingus A350s had been given to Iberia instead.

However, despite searching for news regarding the A350s being given to Iberia, I couldn’t find any leads. According to an official document posted by Airbus in 2021, Aer Lingus still have 5 A350s on order.

Does anyone have any more information regarding this?

Officially they do have 5 A350 orders but it’s confirmed they’ll be going to Iberia. So unofficially they’re Iberia A350 orders. So sadly Aer Lingus won’t be getting them

Ah… I have to say this does have me feeling bitter toward the Spanish.

Blame IAG not Iberia 😉 I’m not happy about it either

Their is a better chance of them getting the A330 NEO then the A350 but no chance they will be getting new aircraft for the foreseeable.
